DKC was retained to position, launch, generate buzz and awareness and drive potential visitors the National Constitution Center (NCC) in Philadelphia, a $185 million museum dedicated to honoring the Constitution and explaining its relevance in our daily lives.

DKC positioned the NCC as a revolutionary state-of-the-art multi-media museum/attraction—helping make a 216 year-old-document exciting to both parents and children alike.

Organized media tours and worked with the Greater Philadelphia Tourism and Marketing Council to facilitate a media day for the Association of American Travel Writers; leveraged the NCC’s 50-state U.S. flag tour, construction and design news, television commercials with celebrities (directed by Christopher Reeve), Supreme Court news, constitutional related headline news, awards and exhibit unveilings to tell the NCC story; mailed press teaser around September 17th, the day the Constitution was ratified; supported the “I Sign the Constitution” initiative—a display sent to schools, elected officials offices and libraries throughout the U.S. enabling Americans to sign a piece of parchment paper.

The NCC opened on Philadelphia's Independence Mall on July 4, 2003 to much fanfare; broadcast coverage: “Good Morning America,” CNN, “ABC News with Peter Jennings,” “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” with just about every major news outlet in the country running feed; print placements: from technology and business stories to architectural and travel stories in national publications (e.g., USA Today, New York Times), top feeder markets (e.g., Philadelphia Inquirer, Miami Herald), travel publications (e.g., AAA Traveler, in-flight magazines), calendar listings, etc.
