BMG was to release a remixed ‘best hits’ album to commemorate 25 years since Elvis’s death as part of a multi-integrated Elvis campaign; with no star, family spokesperson, etc. DKC was retained to ensure the album stood out from the onslaught of commemorative coverage.
DKC secured continuous media feature coverage in high profile outlets e.g. Rolling Stone, Esquire, Spin, Parade, Interview, Details, Maxim, TV Guide, LA Times, NY Times, nightly news and morning show; DKC also created a partnership with NBC to create the one-hour tribute “Elvis Lives” for November Sweeps.
As a result, “Elvis: 30 #1 Hits” broke all ratings and sales records in America and sold more than ten million albums worldwide; DKC retained for second Elvis CD.
